Membership
The
following
kind of membership schemes shall be available.
1.1
Regular Membership: This
shall be open to the regular employees, the postdoctoral fellows and
students of HRI. Adjunct faculty and faculty of HRI on lien may also
apply for regular membership.
1.2 Visiting
membership: This shall be open to the academic visitors to
HRI , who propose to stay at HRI for at least three weeks.
1.3
Casual Membership: This
shall be open to short-term (upto a duration of three weeks) or casual
visitors to HRI and family members of persons granted regular
membership.
1.4
Obtaining membership:
Applicants for membership of the library under any one of the
schemes (1.1) to (1.3) shall be made to the director, who shall
refer them to the LC. Causal membership may be granted by the
librarian, who may ask for supporting references from a member of LC ,
if necessary.

INTER
LIBRARY LOAN
Since the
library catalogue is available on the WEB-OPAC any interested user may
browse the library and can send a request for some material for xerox.
This facility is mainly meant for Department of Atomic Energy Library
users, however, any interested users may also give their request for
the same.
