Faculty Positions in Physics

HRI welcomes people who wish to join the Institute faculty. Applicants must display evidence of independent research in their respective disciplines. All applications must be made vide an advertisement and the advertisement number must be quoted. Application timeline: Applications are required to reach the institute before the deadline given in the advertisement. The Institute provides every necessary facility for pursuing research, such as a good library, extensive computing resources, a good connection to the Internet, and liberal support for travel within the country and abroad. Each faculty member teaches, on the average, one graduate course every other semester. HRI can also offer joint appointments. Excellent housing is provided, almost free of cost, in the clean and pleasant Institute campus.
